Fantastic gem of a place. The owner is wonderfully nice and so helpful. The food was outstanding. I will say yes if you’re in a rush, this is not the place for you. And that’s not a knock on this restaurant. It’s just you’re not gonna get super fast service. But if you prioritize great food then that won’t matter to you.

This is a no frills Korean restaurant that serves really good food. The soups are huge. Bimbibop was very good. The little dishes served before the food arrives was so good ! The staff were so kind and nice they brought out some mandarins after dinner.

What a great find! This is a hole in the wall, not a place to come for a romantic meal. BUT, the food was excellent! And the little old lady was an absolute doll. It felt like my grandma was looking after me, making sure I was fed well. She was so attentive and sweet. I definitely recommend this restaurant for authentic Seoul food!

i only come here for their chicken noodle soup (dak kalguksu). it comes with a few banchan, of course. it’s perfect especially when you’re feeling wilted, sick, sad and/or cold. so comforting and hot!! the auntie at the register is super sweet and organized. their parking attendant is pretty nice too. there is a designated parking spot for to-go orders. i always do to-go.

The food is as good as I remember and it’s close to home cooking. The side dishes aren’t extravagant. They are closer to what my grandmother would have made. If you want some good Korean comfort food, I would recommend coming here.

The food here was unmatched. This is the most authentic, hearty, and delicious Korean meal in LA. The food was prepared quickly and the portions were humongous for the price. The service was overwhelmingly nice. The lady came to thank us for coming and made sure we felt comfortable. She packed our food to go meticulously and was the kindest person.

This is a long-standing, well-known Korean restaurant in K town. The food tastes good, but it’s overpriced. However, the servers were kind and attentive.

This review is long over due. This place is one of my favorite places in Korea town for cold noodles. Last week few coworkers and I went to lunch here and all of the food we had was delicious. Service may be a little slow at times as an older woman is the only waitress but she is so sweet and kind. Be patient. I can’t wait for summer to go back for the cold noodles.

I think the food might be pretty close to the local Korean taste because when we were there, almost all customers speak Korean and they seemed to know the owner of this restaurant. We ordered the spicy chicken stew, kimchi pork stew, and the chicken noodles, they were all good and came in large quantity. I’d say for the spicy it’s truly spicy and if someone can’t eat spicy, then the chicken noodle is a good choice. The atmosphere was very welcoming and all the side dishes tasted good. I’d want to come here again next time I’m in the area.

Traditional Korean food at its finest. As always, the best places are the mom and pop shops that serve up authentic cuisine. This place does not disappoint. Try it, you’ll love it!

So reminiscent of homestyle Korean cooking. Got a noodle dumpling soup and pan fried squid, and both of the dishes along with the sides were spot on. The decor is super homey and all the tables are live edge (so interesting design wise), and the people there were very warm and inviting. Definitely recommend.

Quaint and cozy unassuming authentic Korean restaurant. The epitome of homestyle Korean hospitality. Excellent selection of traditional Korean cuisine. We loved the Tteokbokki, bibimbap and beef bulgogi. The variety of delicious banchan really rounded out our meal. So glad we came here.

100% Authentic Korean cuisines with excellent service. They have all of your favorite soju, beers, and other Korean drinks. Great range of menu. Must try the bean soup. Their chicken pot is very popular. This is a plce where Koreans go to eat real Korean food. Must bring your appetite. All the items on menu are reasonably priced.
